How our process works.
The key dimension of our service model is the project-flow management process. Working from this proven framework, the Meridian Homes team will adapt to the unique characteristics of your situation. Our approach encourages your informed involvement, manages expectations, and incorporates our principals, architects, designers, and craftspeople at just the right moments—with total flexibility to recalibrate along the way.
Setting Parameters:
Together, we arrive at general project specifications, a budget, and a design concept. When all of us are comfortable with the parameters, we sign a Professional Services Agreement.
Countdown to Launch:
Next, we finalize floor plans and elevations as well as all of the details of fit and finish so that we can determine a transparent final price. We then prepare and submit for your signature a Construction Agreement incorporating those details and a timeline.
Progress Tracking:
Work begins. We will invite you to scheduled on-site progress meetings where we review and analyze project status. We also discuss outstanding action items and preview upcoming construction activities.
Continuous Communication:
Your Project Managers will be in ongoing contact with you every step along the way. You will also receive timely responses to questions and comments that you direct to your team. Our collaborative process is built on clear communication to set expectations and avoid surprises.
Post-Completion Visits:
After work is complete, we provide a detailed project review based on a Pre-Occupancy Inspection. We stand by our work, and 90 days after completion, we pay a follow-up visit to identify any warrantable issues that may require further work. If your home is all-new construction, we will proactively schedule another visit at about 11 months after occupancy.
Long-Term Assurance:
We protect you with a comprehensive Meridian Homes warranty, combined with the manufacturers’ warranties for products in your home. Of course, your protection will also be consistent with the requirements of your local jurisdiction. In addition, you can take advantage of our Aftercare Services as you live in and love your home.
