We could not be happier with the work Meridian has done for us. A year ago we had a major flood that ruined our finished basement and the floors in our kitchen/family room. To make matters worse, our insurance company was very difficult to deal with, and we were at our wits’ end. After interviewing several builders, we chose Meridian because neighbors of ours were very pleased with their renovation, which was gorgeous, and we liked Michael Lerner, Meridian’s co-owner. Michael brought in an insurance expert who acted as our go-between, thereby relieving us of having to deal with the insurance adjuster. Our designer and Michael came up with a beautiful plan for our basement. The floors, walls, cabinetry, and hardware look fantastic. On our first floor, the new wood flooring matches the old seamlessly. (Several flooring companies told us this wasn’t possible and recommended replacing all the wood on our first floor, but Michael’s team did a wonderful job.) The lead carpenter managed the day-to-day job, and he made everything work. His crew could not have been nicer, and they left our house spotless. They even hung all our pictures–in the right places, having photographed everything before painting! Along the way, we made some last-minute changes, which did not faze anyone at Meridian. The result is that we have our home back, better than ever. We also have to compliment everyone at Meridian for their communication skills. All our emails and text messages were answered promptly, whether it was by Michael, the lead carpenter, or any of their wonderful office staff. If we could give Meridian 10 stars, we would!
